This is how I got relieved from malware in my PC

Like every usual day I was working on my PC at home and found is quite slower than it normally performs. The first thing that knocked my mind was malware! I immediately removed few suspicious files that I could detect. Finding that it didn’t helped I scanned my PC with latest version of malware removal software.

But, surprisingly my PC found no relief. I was quite worried as I was unknown about what other damages it could have done other than slowing down the process. I was thinking continuously and found a malware removal service provider as a solution.

Without losing anytime I hit one of the websites and asked for help. They gave me their expert techies who performed several work like running the latest antivirus and anti-spyware software, reviewing typical locations where malicious files hide and configuring computer settings to fix security breaches.

Malware removal techies also assisted me through remote assistance and live chat sessions. As a result I didn’t have to take my computer to the store or stay on the phone for hours. Soon my system started to work even faster than earlier. I was wondering that I was working for all these years with malware in my PC! I realized that day that how these malware removal services can work wonderfully even your latest updated antivirus software can not work to remove trouble out of your PC

Malware Removal - A serious problem for many computers

Picture this, you are on an important presentation that needs to be immediately sent to the clients, you are almost at the end of it, have worked really hard for three days and it now seems to be in the perfect shape when BANG, the Malware your internet firewall had allowed to creep in last week has shown its true impact now, crashing your hard disk! What are you going to do now? The answer is simple, consult a good Malware Removal expert, if you haven’t already got one.

In today’s times, there are a lot of potential threats that can ruin your system either gradually, or in the blink of an eye, depending on the extent of damage they can do. A majority of these come from the internet, and are unable to be stopped by your firewall in some cases, irrespective of how good an anti-virus you may have. This is where you need to have a professional Malware removal agency working for you to resolve such issues and prevent them from happening again. This is all the more necessary in case you are a professional who is having an office setup. Deadlines are to be met, and clients and consumers are definitely not going to understand such problems, thanks to the unending competition in the market that is getting tougher by the day.

However, this competition can also help you in the Malware removal domain, since there are so many companies that offer their services to you at competitive rates. You can easily compare their rates and the kind of services they offer, and choose the one that’s best. But remember to do this as soon as you can, since some of the problems might need immediate resolution, and it would be very convenient and economical if you had someone who could instantly come and attend to the issue.

Data theft and online computer support

A very familiar question that I have been asked whenever I talk about online computer support being so much better than maintenance contracts and calling a technician at the eleventh hour is; can one really trust these companies of not stealing personal as well as official data from systems, particularly with cyber crimes being so much talked about these days? The answer to that question does not lie in a simply yes or no, but let’s take a situation.

In case you think it is unsafe to link up with an online computer support company for resolving all your queries, let’s assume that you have taken your machine to a computer service center (authorised/unauthorised, doesn’t really matter. The person servicing is after all a human, and data theft doesn’t stop on brand names). There is a very high chance that your data can easily be stolen without you getting to know of the same. So much for the data security part in case of the offline medium!

Now, coming back to the online support companies, the most important thing to do is to go for a company that is already in the business for many years, so that you know that in case such incidents were happening, you would at least know of them, with the strict laws in place. All in all, data theft and data loss are indeed grave issues that do not have a sure shot remedy beyond a certain stage, but consider this; wouldn’t an individual service centre be at lesser risk while stealing data than an entire organisation that runs on just this business?

Is online computer support better than on-site?

Only yesterday a friend asked me this question, so I thought that this would be an interesting topic for my next blog post. First, let’s see why your PC needs support at all.

Like all kinds of electrical machinery, computers too, need maintenance from time to time, albeit it is of a different kind. Maintenance for computers means steps taken to ensure that your PC runs in perfect condition even after years of its purchase. I’m sure I don’t have to justify why that is no necessary, but in case you are wondering why is support needed, here goes. PCs are often infected with viruses, malware and spyware, that tend to slow it down, cause it to function improperly, and in extreme cases, even cause the hard disk to crash. This is why you need expert assistance to make sure that if such a problem arises, you have help at hand.

Coming to the types, there are two of them; On-site and online computer support. The former refers to you signing an agreement with a company that agrees to provide you with technical support in the form of personnel that will come to your home/office whenever you notify them of any problem. This is usually a more expensive alternative, and also has its share of disadvantages. The first one is that you need to wait for the technician to arrive, and even if your need is urgent, there’s nothing much you can do. Also, some areas are not covered by such support companies, so in case you have a laptop and are out on a remote location, you might not get support at all. Timing is also of essence here, and you can expect very little help in the late hours, and expensive one at that, if it is available.

Coming to online computer support, it is a more recent, much cheaper, and far more convenient alternative. A contract is signed between the two parties, wherein the support company agrees to provide you support via the internet for your PC issues. There is no need for you to wait for the technical personnel to come to the premises, all it takes is for you to have an internet connection, and your problems will be solved ASAP. Cheaper costs, faster support and all this without moving an inch from your location. Is there really anything else you need!

So now that you have seen both sides of the story, I’m sure you can see why online computer support is the better option, and why is it being preferred over the other more traditional approach.
